This was my first Art Battle and it definitely won't be my last.
The Armory was alive with paint and people and performance. Art Battle has been here before and I heard you can also catch it in Portland, OR.
3 Rounds of artists, compete to win each 20 minute round. Like a round robin. The winners of the first 2 rounds compete in round 3. You can vote for as many artists as you like. So its tallied and the final winner gets the prize! Really they are all winners, because all the paintings are added to a temporary gallery at the end of the evening and there is an auction. So you can always bid for your favorite painting.
